Kent Moore DT-51173 Pinion Shim Selector Adapter Kit

The DT-51173 kit includes a shim selection gauge block and two centering discs designed to determine the required pinion shim for 9.76" rear axles.

Key Features:

• Compatibility: Works with components from the J-34925 Pinion Setting Gauge Set.
• Precision Alignment: The centering discs hold the stud assembly from the J-34925 set centered when attached to the gauge block, ensuring the correct pinion bearing preload.
• Easy Measurement: The arbor plunger rod is placed at the gauge block to "zero" the dial indicator. Turning the arbor moves the rod off the gauge block, allowing the dial indicator to display the required shim.
