Designed for camping in tropical conditions, the Snugpak Jungle sleeping bag is an ideal bit of kit for campers, survivalists and anyone sleeping out in warm weather.
Constructed using Snugpak’s unique Travelsoft insulation, this sleeping bag can be compressed down without compromising any of its thermal properties.
The Micro Diamond exterior layer provides waterproofing and an extra layer of comfort, as well as protection against insects and small creatures.
The Paratex Antibacterial inner lining discourages the growth of bacteria and helps to prevent odours; ideal for when sleeping in tropical environments.
When fully unravelled, the bag measures approximately 220cm x 80cm. However, when packed away in the supplied compression sack it measures just 15cms x 18cms, making it very easy to carry.
In addition, it weighs only 900grams, so it won’t add unnecessary bulk or weight to your kit.
As an extra defence against mosquitos and other critters, the Jungle Bag features a mosquito net, which can be zipped over your face to provide an excellent barrier against biting insects at night.
The sleeping bag is effective for those sleeping in temperatures around 7°C and above. However, if you’re used to more extreme conditions you’ll find that the bag is effective and warm in temperatures as low as 2°C.
In warmer conditions, the bag can be opened up and used as a quilt and you can even zip together a left and right zip version to create a warm and comfortable double sleeping bag.
